The KITA POP-UP workshop series provides a creative environment where children are introduced to architecture through play and making. Our first KITA Pop-Up workshop focusing on building problem solving skills was hosted at the RISE correctional counselling and prevention centre.

This specialised workshop invited the CREATIVE MIND groups (7-to-14 year olds) to use their imagination and explore contemporary themes around architecture including buildings, the environment, people and place-making. The workshop aimed for children to work individually and in teams stimulating the development of STEAM and EQ skills through design and construction challenges.
