To begin with, we provide a free initial consultation. To ensure you get the best out of this meeting we advise Clients before booking to:

• – establish an overall budget/cost for construction

• – write up a project brief/list of what needs to be built

• – focus on what you want to achieve

• – note your requirements and/or matters that need attention

• – think of how users will utilise the space now and in the future

• – prepare a gallery of inspiration images/ideas from e.g. Pinterest, Instagram

The aim of the consultation is to provide Clients with guidance about all the aspects of a project from the initial design through to planning and construction and help them realise their project. During the consultation we will ask questions, listen and understandwhat you are trying to achieve.  We will also discuss and agree on the appropriate scope of architectural services and take you through our Guide For Private Clients. Following our consultation, a fee proposal letter will be sent by email and upon acceptance, an Architect’s Appointment Agreement is prepared in writing for both parties to sign outlining the agreed services, fees and obligations of each party.
